ernest hernandez has just announced on the manila comic convention discussion board that the organizers will be setting up a really long table called "the indie-go! valley", dedicated solely to displaying the wares of indie comics groups and creators like me. no fees or royalties involved (great), but you have to man your table the entire two days of the convention (not so great). i may have to start thinking about joining a circle, so i won't have to sit on my butt for two days.

so i set up a deviantart account to help promote "ang maskot", because i remember a local manga publisher saying that their deviantart got more hits than their actual website.

so i'm currently doing simple black-and-white coloring pages for coloringfun.com ... these aren't online games now, you print them out and color 'em in old school. more at this page dedicated to my stuff, heh heh and still more to come in the future!

the minicomic is done! i'm working on the "extras" bit that will go at the end of the book, and then i'll start looking for a printshop and a photocopying shop. and then hopefully everything will be done in time for the summer komikon .

(oh look, it's that "new post" screen again. i haven't seen it for months.) and so i am working on my very first self-published comic book: if all goes well it'll be available at next month's summer komikon at the UP bahay ng alumni.
